BRIAN K. GLENN, PRESIDENT Our staff is headed by Mr. Brian K. Glenn, Founder and President of Pacific West Archaeology, Inc. Mr. Glenn holds a Master's degree in Archaeology from the University of California, Los Angeles and Bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and Geography from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is listed on the Register of Professional Archaeologists (RPA) and has lead or participated in academic and private-sector archaeological investigations throughout southern California for more than 20 years.
RONALD V. MAY, SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, HISTORIC ARCHAEOLOGIST Mr. May provides Pacific West Archaeology with invaluable management experience gained through his more than 25 years as Senior Project Manager with the County of San Diego, Department of Planning and Land Use and with the U. S. Navy.
Mr. May is RPA listed and holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and a Graduate Certificate in Public History from San Diego State University. His studies and publications of the Spanish and Mexican Periods within southern California are acknowledged contributions to the history of the region. This combination of academic excellence and practical experience enables the production of quality work acceptable to lead agencies and the personal relationships that provide our clients with the guidance necessary to project approval.
KATHLEEN A. CRAWFORD, SENIOR HISTORIAN Ms. Crawford has over 14 years experience in the research, documentation, and evaluation of historic resources in San Diego County. She holds Bachelor degrees in History and Anthropology and a Master's in History from the University of San Diego. Ms. Crawford's experience includes preparation of historic resources documents for Caltrans, Department of the Navy, the City and County of San Diego, the U. S. Forest Service, and other agencies. Her experience includes the preparation of National Register Nomination Forms, Historical Architectural Survey Reports (HASR), Bridge Evaluation, and Determination of Eligibility reports.
DALE BALLOU MAY, PUBLICATIONS DIRECTOR Ms. May holds a Graphics Design degree from Platt College, as well as, a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and a Certificate in Public History from San Diego State University. She has been Director of Publications for the Fort Guijarros Museum Foundation for 13 years and has published on the area's Mexican period in the Journal of San Diego History.
